If you build a max beacon and activate the secondary power, it doesn’t give you the achievement. I have tried on the Switch, PC, and Xbox versions of my world to no luck. I’ve also tried replacing just the beacon, replacing the entire pyramid, and even making a whole entire new beacon. It still doesn’t grant me the achievement. Achievements are still unlock able on my world, as I just obtained the Master Trader one today. This is one of my last achievements I need, and it’s very frustrating that I have seen reports about this bug since last year, but it still hasn’t been resolved, even though the bug page said it’s being investigated. Can anyone please help me with this?
If you are not getting the achievement make sure the beacon pyramid is correct, that you have crafted the beacon yourself in the crafting table and placed it on the center of the top layer. After that just apply the effect haste 2 (both on primary and secondary power). Check effects, if it says Haste II, you should get the achievement after a few seconds. I tested this myself and it works. Good luck.
