Minecraft Beta V. 1.11.0.1 for Windows 10 crashes on the splash screen. Apparently, only the Android version is working. The bug prevents Minecraft lauching and playing. The issue has been reported on the MOJANG MCPE Bug website. I hope Microsoft fast tracks a repair for this, because the Beta version of the game is not playable. Unjoining the Xbox Insider Hub for Minecraft and uninstalling the Beta will allows one to download the Version 1.9 and play the game. There is no other work-around at present.

I don't know where you got the information that Microsoft or Mojang are working on the Beta V1.11.0.1 crash issue, because there has been nothing reported from the aforementioned groups on the JIRA Bug website indicating anything is being done. The only thing reported is the duplicate bug reports are resolved. I think it is a travesty when you have gamers that cannot play and zero communication from the games creators as to the status of fixing the problem. Best wishes :-)
Xbox one is working okay, but if there is an issue with win 10 in sure the devs are working on it. I suppose it could be an issue with your pc though. Just been playing online with my mate and he's on Win 10 and hasn't had any issues.

There is a workaround published on the JIRA Bug website MCPE-42317. I have tested the workaround and it works for the Minecraft Windows 10 Edition v1.11.0.1. Apparently, there is a Microsoft Store / Minecraft Certificate problem which the workaround circumvents.

Has there been any mention on social media when the Beta Crash will be fixed? Running Windows 10 in Developer Mode is causing issues with Microsoft Links, Web Browser, and Outlook 2013 client. Seems to me Microsoft Minecraft Team needs to fast track the fix.
What's the rush? It's a beta. It can have bugs and crashes, but that is exactly what it's for: testing for bugs before full releases. Don't like it? Why did you opt in in the first place?

Windows 10 Beta V. 1.11.0.3 resolved the game launch crash. I disabled the Developer Mode and downloaded the new Beta via Xbox Insider Hub. The game launched without a hitch. Yea ;-)
