I’m playing Minecraft Pocket Edition version 1.6 and I’m trying to get my villagers breeding. I cannot get it to work. Here is what my breeding area looks like now, it’s a 7 by 7 square with doors all around the outside. There is a carrot farm in it and there is 3 villagers in there, one is a fletcher. I put the carrot farm in because I thought they would give carrots to each other like I’ve seen a few times, I’m really just clueless so help is appreciated.
Doors are only counted if there is more roof on the inside than on the outside (counting 5 blocks straight out, blocks straight above the door aren't counted.)
Interesting change (bug, maybe, not sure) in Bedrock is that there is no waiting time any more for breeding. They'll go from 2 to <number of doors> pretty much non-stop if you keep feeding them. Makes filling out a trading hall with Librarians that much faster.

What kind of roof do you have?

Just testing.
Oh, a roof, um, I don’t have one. Currently all my doors are on the block that is next to the wall. What kind of roof do I need to put?
Any solid block will work. This might be of use: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Village_mechanics#Housing
Wait, never mind, I just put one block over every door, went on an expedition, came back and there were 3 baby villagers. The roofs worked.
4) Mood music. I suggest Barry White.
