Music through Minecraft's aim it to bring classical music to people through Minecraft.
How will we do it?
Right now, I have three projects planned. We are using small landscapes, filming and actor players to record and edit.
These projects are currently:
Zig, zig, zig, Death in a cadence, Striking with his heel a tomb, Death at midnight plays a dance-tune, Zig, zig, zig, on his violin. The winter wind blows and the night is dark; Moans are heard in the linden trees. Through the gloom, white skeletons pass, Running and leaping in their shrouds. Zig, zig, zig, each one is frisking, The bones of the dancers are heard to crack— But hist! of a sudden they quit the round, They push forward, they fly; the cock has crowed.
The enchanted forest seems quiet until graceful fairies come out, dancing for all the world to see!
The camel-drivers gradually approach the market; the cries of beggars for 'back-sheesh' are heard amid the bustle. The beautiful princess enters carried by her servants, (she is represented by a languorous theme, given at first to clarinet and cello, then repeated by full orchestra)--she stays to watch the jugglers and snake-charmer. The Caliph now passes through the market and interrupts the entertainment, the beggars are heard again, the princess prepares to depart and the caravan resumes its journey; the themes of the princess and the camel-drivers are heard faintly in the distance and the market-place becomes deserted.
Who do we need?
This project requires about 11-12 players to move around to be filmed. I also need about 2-5 camera angles.
As long as you know the basics of minecraft movement and screen recording, you are welcome to join!
