In my opinion, bows are kind of ignored in the enchantment table. There are literally only 4 enchantments available from said table. So I have ideas for a couple enchantments to be added:
Looting Practically the same as the sword enchantment, in fact this is possible in creative.
Multi-Shot The bow loads in multiple arrows when drawn back. The higher the level, the more arrows. No extra arrows wasted
Drawback Decreases time to draw bow back. Reduces accuracy, however.
Focus: Reduces slowness of walking speed when drawing back.
Be sure to use the poll to say if you support, if you have you have better names or ideas, say so.
EDIT: For the Focus and Multi-Shot I forgot to add a couple key words. OOPS. For drawback, Greg's idea is better.
Looting: Support: This is a doable mechanic, as Phoenix stated above, the mechanic would have to transfer to the getting shot mechanic in much the same way that the flame, power, and punch enchantments work.
Multi-Shot: This could be fun when dealing with a mob of MOBs at range, but costly on arrows, especially on the 1-on-1 encounters... unless there was a way to select between multi and normal shot... ie. hold R Trigger to draw back the bow, release R Trigger to fire single shot (as normal), or press L Trigger to fire multi-shot.
Drawback: If you hold long enough for a normal draw, you should be doing at least the same damage as a normal draw (to address Phoenix's concern), advantage, allows rapid fire. But if this is an enchantment... the bonuses should outweigh the penalties. alternative option might be to replace the damage reduction with a long range targeting penalty... so that longer range is sloppy until you have time to steady your aim (for the full draw time allowed).
Focus: I'm not sure what you were going with this, but walking speed is already reduced when bow is drawn, and this is a penalty, not a bonus as would be inferred by an enchantment. What would be useful as an enchantment is to be able to walk and jump at normal speed with the bow drawn.

Looting - The mechanic would need changed since hitting is what loots, not shooting. Indifferent either way. According to both the wiki and personal tests, the sword enchantment works on the bow, because the drops are increased when a mob dies while the player that kills them is holding an item with Looting, not using an item with Looting.
Multi - Why? This sounds more like a waste of arrows than a benefit.
Drawback - Eh, it seems pointless since you can just hit harder with a slower shot.
Focus - What? Unless I misunderstood, this sounds detrimental.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I'm Canadian, and there is no igloos around. Or snow. Or polar bears. Or moose because I live in a city, but there are moose in the country.
And I tested it. Sure enough, it seems that bows were unstatingly changed at some point so that looting works both for shooting and whacking. I'm still indifferent, though.
I think I like the idea of the focus enchantment. Being able to move at normal speed whilst drawing would be very desirable. What are the existing enchantments? I know that Infinite is one, Power, Fire, can't remember the other. Just got my first Infinite bow the other day because I don't generally enchant bows very often. How about an enchantment that reduces bullet drop? Or one that increases the level of magnification when drawing the bow?
"level of magnification" - Eagle Eye or Sharp Shooter for an enchantment name?
Sorry, too used to playing Battlefield...the arc of the projectile. The further the arrow travels the more it drops till it hits a target or the ground. With this enchantment the arrow could travel straighter for longer making long range targets easier to hit without compensating for the trajectory. I quite enjoy taking out targets at range but it would certainly help when taking out the crystals on the towers in the End.

Punch.
Reduces bullet drops??? What do you mean?
