When is the update most expected? and what do you think they will put now besides saying what we want? anyone can guess what is the most likely thing to come?

Wow! Gimme gimme gimme! We just got a bug fix that pretty much stabilized the last content update and you're clambering about new stuff already. Sheesh!
I can tell you with certainty what will come with the next update, though.... someone immediately wanting to know when the next update will be out.
Expect it in 8-10 months. In the meantime, go build a Tamagotchi or something.
Woah! OCD TO THE MAX! But why'd that be a bad thing ? Can you justify that response ?

Anyhows , seriously ... Could you explain why'd it be bad ? I think it'd be bad because emeralds are extremely common/sparse depending on which world you're in . So it'd be unbalanced (although a unbalanced game can lead to more tactics , emeralds could end up being MC's "Noob Tube")
Heheheh. I must have been drunk when I wrote that. I tend to be more cynical.
But, yes! while the unbalancing issue would also be due to the ease with which emeralds are obtained, the current weapon/armor tiers are already very well-balanced. Sneaking in a new tier (especially with such a common material) cheapens all tiers below. I'd be "okay" if emerald armor were on par with Chain mail, but I don't see the necessity of it since iron is so abundant.
I have a general question, and I don't want to start another "next update" thread to ask it.
If given the option of having the next update bring the game equivalent to 1.7.2 with the biomes (and all their subsequent blocks, items, etc.) and the newer fishing system, but with nothing else pulled forward
or
Having the update contain less "up-front" additions, including stained glass from 1.7, but also features pulled from 1.8 such as the crafting recipes for mossy cobble, cracked/mossy stone, and coarse dirt; Crafting recipes for diorite, andesite and granite (as an alternative/precursor to adding them to world-gen); The various wooden doors and fences (for the current four wood types only); Mutton drops from sheep; Armor stands.
Which would you choose if those were the only two options available?
I think I prefer the former . (Or is it latter , whatever , the second one) . After all , the 1..7 update was huge . And it added alot of cool stuff , but the same applies to 1.8 (even more so) . It depends on exactly what would be added though , and I'd like to know if this is from customer standpoint or a comercial standpoint
That would be Latter (compare to "before" and "later").
As for what would be added...
just what I have in the post above. At least for the purposes of this exercise.
That means that Option 1 will bring the consoles to 1.7.2 and no further (barring any features that are already currently in the game).
Option 2 will contain those features listed, but nothing else from Option 1.
Both add new blocks/items, just do it in a different way. Option 2 contains comparatively more blocks, but doesn't offer the "world-changing" features of 1.7 (temperature gradients, weather changes, etc). I guess the point of the exercise was to see if people prefer items added through generation as opposed to crafting.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "customer" v. "commercial" though. I certainly don't stand to make a profit if either of these options were available, so I guess it'll be a customer standpoint...
What things I would love to see isa Game of Thrones Mash-Up Pack or just a Skin Pack like I hope for a skin. I would like to see a Kingsguard skin but nevermind that for now I had a dream this morning That Minecraft should have crowns like It should be in the armor catagory for example Wood-Iron-Gold-Diamond. These would look great for crowns.

Never really used the Fantasy Pack, but if any TPs would have re-textured the Gold Helm to look like a crown, I would assume it'd be that one.

Hopefully Never!
I really would like them to make the worlds bigger and put a smelter and more of the PC ores in the Xbox 360 version
I would love to see a minecraft server section and able to create bukkit servers and add mods like crazycraft and crash landing
What's a smelter? A furnace? We have that.
PC ores? You mean Diorite, Andesite and Granite, right?
I'm Canadian, and there is no igloos around. Or snow. Or polar bears. Or moose because I live in a city, but there are moose in the country.
New weapons Stained Glass Command blocks New mobs New dimensions morph And self crafting
New biomes bug fixes
New amour

People always fail to forget that emeralds are fairly easy to obtain, and by the time you had 24, you could just buy some diamond gear.
"Fail to Forget"?
But, yes! 24 emeralds would buy nearly a full suit of diamond armor.
I want to see new biomes,new pets,new structures,new temples,new potions,new blocks,and new weapons/tools
