Hey I was looking at minecraft hosting sites and all of them you have to pay for, so i was wondering if somebody knows a minecraft server hosting website.
People host Minecraft servers to make money. Serving hosting is for people who want really big servers, or don't have the processing power it takes to run a server, and play Minecraft at the same time. Not many people have computers that can do this. It also slows down your local internet connection.
My suggestion would be to start off small. If you don't have any money, you need a computer with atleast 4gb RAM, and a 3ghz+ processor. I have 4gb RAM, and a 1.5ghz quad core processor, so my processor equals up to about 6ghz. If you have a 2ghz+ dual core, that should work fine too.
You also need to forward a port in your router. If you aren't able to do this, or it slows down your internet too much, I suggest Hamachi until you get a couple donations. Hamachi servers don't tend to get many donations, mainly because people don't think they are very stable, or bound to last too long.
You could also just find some other ways to get money on the internet. You could always build a Minecraft fansite, hoping that you are familiar with HTML. Sites created in web designers don't tend to do so well, like webs.com . The best way for a noob to create a website is to use notepad. Webs is okay for businesses though, if you don't have the time to learn HTML and it is just for posting news about your company, webs is good for small businesses.
