So, there is this thing that was announced a few days ago called Minecraft Realms where a Minecraft user can start a server from.
I myself like the idea, although I bet it's the reason why LAN servers (for me) don't work since the 1.7.2 update. Maybe they want lots of money or something.
It's just my thought; not a fact. I want to hear your thoughts since I'm not sure about mines. :3
It's good, but the demand for servers will be absurd, and mojang will either:
1. Lose a ton of money buying servers and keeping them running
2. Gain a ton of money, if they can handle the boom of WANT.
3. The realms will be so bloody expensive (to compensate with the demand) that it will be for the elite of the elite. (famous youtubers, etc.)
Honestly, I'm leaning to #3 happening after a while of public release, and #2 at first, when it's available.
