This is how you build a repeater in 0.13.0, it is not the most efficient repeater, but it works, first you make a tower with a iron trapdoor, then you connect redstone to it, you then build a sort of cage around it, if you do not want to wait, just put a pressure plate under the trapdoor, and hook something up to it, for a delay, put a cobweb, or multiple cobweb, and a pressure plate under the trapdoor, and do not forget to put a mob on the trapdoor.
I applaud u for engineering but there is a better way to make them. 1 (left) is a simple repeter with a delay. 2 has a better use if on long range. So I would experiment some more with Redstone to find what u like best. And they can be turned off and on.

That's already how I did them. But I used 15 redstone before the torches

Thank you for pointing that out, also would of used anvils or gravel, but there were no pistons, but try stacking those little containers and adding a cobweb inbetween the containers. AKA from top to bottom (Villager and container trapdoor, cobweb, villager and container, trapdoor, cobweb, pressure plate (preferably stone) and redstone).

Just hook up an even number of redstone torches in series. However it only works as a 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16 bla bla bla.. repeater.

Same but I shrunk it for the screenshot
