Sorry I don't know how to make a video
but I can show how to make this
(Actually they are snowballs)
I get this idea after discovering the remove throwing gravity mod from the forum and after I find out that water and air can slow down the motion of snowballs.
You need these before editing:
Pocketinveditor Pro 1.6+
Pocketool,
Remove Throwing Gravity mod (optional:anti fog (fog only) mod, which enhance the view of farther snowballs) from http://www.minecraft...-mods-by-ksymc/ (0.7.2)
If you don't want to read the instructions below, read this very very VERY BRIEF summary: You spread some chickens throughout the sky and change them into snowballs by magic.
Instructions:
1. use Pocketinveditor Pro 1.6+. Clear the passive mob you want (I choose chicken and I will explain it below)
2. Edit Terrain:
X: 0
Y: 100+ (I used 111)
Z: 0
Width (x):256
Height (y):1
Length (z):256
set blocks: any solid blocks. I use glass such that no mobs can spawn here.
3. Edit entities: Spawn mobs (passive)
I prefer chicken since they take no fall damage
spawn some or 500 chickens at level Y=127 (you can spawn them at the same spot or to obtain better result, spawn them evenly through the whole layer)
4. Edit world info: Move player above 100+ (the solid layer)
5. Play minecraft PE. "Away from keyboard" for sometime (eg, 10 minutes.) Let the mobs spread. You can also walk around. If you don't want to wait so long and want them to spread evenly, simply spawn them evenly through the whole layer.
6. Go back to Pocketinveditor Pro. Remove the solid layer:
Edit Terrain:
X: 0
Y: 100+
Z: 0
Width (x):256
Height (y):1
Length (z):256
set blocks: air.
7. Replace entity: Replace your passive mob (eg. chicken) to snowballs.
8. Move the player back to ground.
9. Set to night
10. Open Minecraft PE. Look at the sky. Enjoy your starry night!
Here is a sample showing what the world would look like after "sunset".
640 snowballs at Y=111 (divided the world to 16 portions, each with 40 snowballs)
Seed used:oblivion
Terrain has been slightly edited
Before you open this map, MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ACTIVATED THE REMOVE THROWING GRAVITY MOD. Otherwise you cannot view your stars, since the snowballs will simply fall down. If this is the case, download the map again and activate the Remove Throwing Gravity mod.
If you are on a multilayer server with stars, you won't see the stars unless you have activated the Remove Throwing Gravity mod.
As you may notice that, the effect will not be so good on the edge of the world, AND ALSO WORK WELL WHEN BEAUTIFUL SKIES IS ON ONLY IF YOU PATCHED THE ANTI FOG (FOG ONLY) MOD.

Texture pack used: Faithful 64x64 (0.5.0) (does not affect result, as long as the snowballs are white)
Original texture pack (0.7.2)

Awesome idea man! This is what Mojang should do instead of adding stars...and then they could make a moon with snowballs!!!!
^^^^^^^^(sarcasm)^^^^^^^^But still it's an awesome idea and i was serious about the snowballs being stars+1

That's why he said to get the no throwing gravity mod so that they don't fall...

1. By Pocketinveditor pro 1.6+: edit terrain
2. Pile up blocks on the side of the world then destroy the blocks underneath, to remain one block at the side of the world.
Am I answering your question correctly?
Lol in this way the moon will not move at all.
I mean no light will shine from the side.
Oh thanks!
I wonder will there be stars in the next update since I really want a starry sky without using any mods.
