Anybody know if there's a way to get moss stone in survival without changing textures and all that? If its impossible without "hacking", maybe Johan can implement a way to get it in survival
Maybe someone can ask johan or jens when mcpe can be modded like PC ( johan don't read my tweets )
We don't need to ask either of them. The answers is simple. Never. Apple simply does NOT allow any modifications (by 3rd parties, a.k.a. us) to any apps submitted to the App Store. The closest we could possibly get, is in-app purchases/downloads. That is the only possible way we could ever get legit mod (and even texture pack) support. As for Google, idk as I don't have an Android device nor do I know any of the Google Play Store rules.
tl;dr: Unless the devs make the mods and set them as in-app purchases, MCPE will never be able to be modded like the PC version.

Hopefully texture packs can be added in the options menu instead of being an in app purchase. It makes sense because on the PC version, they don't have to pay for texture packs

Well I'm pretty sure they can make those in-app purchases free. Another thing they could do is start shipping MC: PE with texture packs pre loaded in the game but that would:
A. Increase the file size
B. Force the authors of the packs to make a separate version of it for MC: PE
C. Not support HD packs
D. Anger people who's favorite pack isn't in the game
All in all, it would be best to have them as free in-app purchases or have Mojang run their own texture pack database and make MC: PE be able to download packs from there.
Because everybody is on their Christmas break.
I can imagine the Mojang Team sitting by a fire roasting walnuts right now.
Merry Christmas and probably cause it's Christmas, idk...
Dungeons<3
Yep, that's the suckish part.
Agreed
I know but don't forget... Dat lag
I could pay the price of lag if it means having caves
Me too, but I've gotten used to it.
Me too. Except ill have to create a new world to get those randomly generated worlds
Sure.

Yeah, I hope they add that too.

I guess we'll just wait and see.
