The minecraft pocket edition is evoluing .. ok ..
and the generation of terrain , is very important for the gameplay of game .. in case , more biomes e aditional caves =B ...
Jeb, one of the developers of PE, said caves caused lag, so it will be an option in the future. I don't know about more biomes since worlds are only about 250x250 blocks.

Johan did mention in the stream that he didn't know how much bigger worlds would get, but also stated he was looking into, perhaps MCX60 sized worlds. Would be a ways out, that's for sure.
I'd imagine if they do increase world size substantially, they may do a shift in the world Generation. Just speculation on my part. I once found a ported "Jungle" biome with all the trees and wood replaced with oak equivalents. Loaded it up with Fancy Graphics on and watched the framerate take a massive hit. The combination of so many "transparent" blocks and the caves left my GSIII chugging.

Wow, very rare to find it, but really let's wait yet, because minecraft has not even left the 1.0 .. so let's hope it = \
I think they discussed that infinite world generation would be very difficult and would cause alot of lag, but other than that, I don't know how they would more biomes.
We already have normal, snow and sand inside the terrain generation, We need a jungle for sure though.

Here's hoping too. Forgot to mention switching to "Fast" graphics did help the framerate quite a lot. I'd say the biggest hit was the caves. There were quite a few on it.
Then again, it was ported from PC, so it was using it's Cave generation. I'd imagine if caves are added to PE, they'd alter the algorithm a bit or overhaul it completely, that way we don't get too many cave systems that cause lesser devices to fall behind in performance. Still, speculation at this point. I'd like to see the world gen changed, at the very least, even if caves don't make the cut. Right now it's very.... difficult to find interesting terrain consistently without hunting down one of, like, 15 good seeds.
