I've searched for servers in 0.15.0 and i found some.I entered the ip adress&port,then the servers list started to show that they're online.But when i trying to enter it,a message popped that i need to connect using wifi to play.
DO i really need to use wifi to connect to servers?
Yes you do, multiplayer only works on wifi. Hope mojang enables data soon.
Meanwhile, on Android, you can use an "Xposed Framework" module called "Fakewifi" to bypass the wifi limitation or "Block Launcher", if I remember correctly, has an option to do that too; or on iOS theres an app called "3G Unrestrictor" in the Cydia Store

My son uses his tablet and turns on his hotspot so his friends can join, and after the update he cannot play with them. It lets his 2 friends join but never lets him in..it says he needs to be connected to a wifi connection..I don't understand what is happening when his friends are on his hotspot. please help me..I have a house full of summer boys dying without joining on minecraft lol..Thanks!

Its the same issue. When your son turns onthe hotspot it creates a virtual router/wifi. His friends can connect and play because their devices "believe" they are connected to a normal wifi.
You might want to try one of the apps i mentioned above on your son's tablet and then theter its connection.

Thanks,but i used the fake wifi and it didn't work,the blocklauncher for alpha 0.15.0 looks like not released yet
