I can host 4 minecraft servers for free since I own a dedicated server and I don't need all the resources it offers right now. Each server will have 1 GB RAM and 15 solts. You will have admin access (to your minecraft server, not the dedicated server itself) and may access the server files (words, server.jar) via FTP. You will not have any access to the server.
Here are a few rules:
- Don't do resource exhausting things. If you need too much CPU, I will stop your server. Try not to blow up your world or use plugins that just need a lot of resoruces.
- Don't make money using my server! I will offer these servers for free, so, I will not allow commercial use of any kind (e.g. premium packages, etc).
- Don't expect uptime. Although I will try to keep the server running, I don't expect it to break. I will not garuntee uptime.

It is hosted in Beauharnois, Canada by OVH.com. It has 100Mbits up/down stream (it is more than enough for minecraft), 8 GBs RAM, and 4 Cores. As I said previously, I don't do much with that server right now, so it should not lag. There are only a few takes every few hours that need the server's CPU for a few seconds.
I may cancel your server at many time, so please don't be mad at me when I need more resources of my server. At the end of the day, I'm still the owner and you don't own the server. There will be no contact that guarantees you anything. Although, I will still allow you to access my server via FTP when I need my server back (for at least one week), I can't guarantee you that I will be able to keep all the data. There is a slight chances that the hard disks break (or other hardware failures occur) and there won't be anything I can do about that (i.e. in a very unlikely case, you might lose all the data). I may also forget to expend my subscription and OVH will simplely wipe all may data. Then, I can't do anything about that either. So make backups on regular basis!

I can say when the servers will be available but I'll try to set them up tomorrow, but I can't guarantee anything. They should be up and running by Monday, though.
