Hiya!! I'm new on minecraft forums so this is all very confusing!
So my question is:
I have found a MCPE server I really want to try -IP: ctf.lbsg.net Port: 19132- but when I go in, it just says "Locating Server" for like a bazillion hours! Maybe I'm exaggerating but IT NEVER LOADS! 😔
I am 100% it's not the wifi! because my brother sitting 5 feet away from me (Note: We both have 3 bars and I AM the one closest to the wifi box!) Can try to log in AFTER me and still get in really quickly without problems, and I do exactly what he does! I even got him to try to do it for me And he was all like: "Nope, its not working." (another note: we both have iPad airs and we both have the newest update)
Yes, I did try double clicking the home button and swiping away the app. (Force-closing)
SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP A POOR GIRL IN NEED, ITS FOR THE SAKE OF MINECRAFT!!
edit: this is not my server, it is some life boat server.
This is EXACTLY what is happening to the server I am trying to join! Just says "Locating Server" for what seems like forever! It's annoying! I reset my wifi, reset my iPad mini, checked for a mcpe update and nothing! It's a prison server called " play.mcpe.net port:19132 " I don't know what to do! :-(

I have the 0.14.1 is that ok,also whenever I try use a server it takes forever to load and it never does and when I press it it says no network connection and when I'm at my friends house (who has a wifi router) it still does not load and my name in minecraft is SummerGirl. Pls pls pls help!

I do have the 0.10.4 update, too.
If your name has special characters such as &,$,@, it won't work.

What about hipixel will that work or no
