I might be able to help with that problem. I have the same brand router a Netgear. I think that you're using the server's ip not the router ip.

go to whatsmyip.com and the ip on there is is your server ip

Amol,TheBlackFactor's staff list for his server is full. Even though I'm a admin on there,I applied before the staff was full. Also,he asked to be co owner on my server. (I met him on mineblast)
Also,I tried using my router IP,and it didn't work.

Tech you need to go to whatismyip.com and the numbers are your serveers ip and if you run it in differ places you have to repeat
