What are Servers, and what do they do?

Server is where people from all over the world join and play together and you can chat with other people do all stuff you do in normal minecraft. Servers also have commands and admins who take care of a server and maintain the server

a) Browse this part of the Minecraft Forums for servers.
When you find one that interests you, write down the IP address (which looks something like "192.168.69.180") and the port (which looks like "19132").
c) Open up Minecraft PE, and hit Play.

e) Type in the IP and port where it says to.
f) Give it a name, check your Wi-Fi connection, tap Done and load it up.
g) Erect dispensers.

Also, there is no step B.

I tried this, but it said it couldn't connect any of the servers I entered.

Translation: Either only certain people can join, you're an idiot, or someone turned off their Wi-Fi.
