Nah I think 24/7 is better Ill look after the server when I canAnd yes you need minecraft POCKET EDITION on you device. Your server will ask for owner name. If u dont have an owner name it will be impossible for me to become op/co owner

Can you find out for me if I need to actually OWN Minecraft to be able to run a server? I'm thinking about renting a server from
a Minecraft-dedicated server hosting site.
But I don't have any interest in buying Minecraft or playing it. Also, if I do have to OWN Mincecraft, can you tell me if I have to
leave my machine on Minecraft constantly to host the server... keep in mind, I'm renting the server from a Minecraft hosting site.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to run the server without even being on the internet at my house... that way I could turn off the internet when
I go to work or am sleeping (I don't wi-fi beaming through my house unless I'm actually using it to be on the internet.)

I'll check it out myself... but maybe you can answer me before I have to try it out.
I just don't want to spend the extra time setting up Minecraft.... I'd like to just purchase the server and let you start managing it tonight.
What would be better, 24/7 or ..... you know the best times of the day or night to run it?
