Hello guys. I'm posting about the title above. It seems the whenever I patch an IP in it, the patch doesn't work right. It may be that the server is down, or my phone has issues, but I think it's more of the first one. If anyone has an alternative (not including Rooting!) please comment down below. I really wanna join some servers. Snowbound, if you see this, help me through!
Alright, apparently you need to Patch the IP then Patch it as a mod. I got that from a commenter below, so I'll try it. I'll post the results later.

it was working a couple days ago for the first time. Then it stopped and I re installed pocket tool which was really dumb. So now I can not go on servers! Sorry I can't help you but I hope someone can.

1) Go to the "Change Server IP" section and enter in the IP address.
2) Click "Patch My IP!"
3) Back out of that screen and go to "Patch Mod"
4) Long press on the "[server ip here].mod" file
5) Click "Patch, of course!"
6) Go into your menu (usually the 3 dots button) and click "Apply Changes"
7) Uninstall and reinstall MCPE.
Hope that works for you. I've been up all night trying to learn how to connect to servers online, and this finally worked for me. I didn't realize after changing the server IP that you had to go back and patch it as a mod. I did that and it worked!

I agree with Blacktimes. It installs correctly, but no server appears. Nuts.
