My wife and I really liked using the seed -12 for Minecraft Multiplayer and this is the first time we've ever had a chance to play at the same time so we spent hours on this seed and then we decided to use the Sonic Ether shaders and Dokucraft Texture packs. So after having downgraded to 1.4.7 so we could use the shaders when going to play multiplayer it is very obviously saying we can't because the version doesn't match.
I am using the Minecraft Server.exe that you can download from the official website. It is all contained within a folder on my desktop. So to get to the actual question:
"Is it possible to change the world that was created in multiplayer from version 1.5.1 to 1.4.7 so we can play with the added shaders?"
P.S. I replaced the minecraft_server.jar file with the 1.4.7 server file and it did not work...
P.S.S When I run the .bat file to start the server with 2048MB RAM the GUI pops up and it shows that it is in fact, running 1.5.1. I am sure there is an easy way to change this but I am new to java implementations and I require help.
