Is there a server, for children with Autism to play on, on the ipad? I have twin sons who are 9, and they both love minecraft. The problem is, my son with Autism gets very upset when people blow up his house. He does not understand why someone would do that to him.
If not, Are there any servers where players are not allowed to destroy other players "houses"?
I am completely lost about all of this, just jumping into the minecraft world tonight to help my son.
I am looking for any suggestions to help him enjoy playing.
Well, the PC version of Minecraft does have plugins that prohibit "griefing" other people's buildings and the like.
As far as the PE side of things, I haven't seen or heard of any PocketMine plugin that prohibits griefing on servers. It is quite unfortunate there aren't a whole lot of nice folk online these days, but it's the sad truth.
I'm sure though if you asked in the MCPE: Servers section, you'd be bound to find some better results than in the Discussion section.
Take it from a teenage boy who deals with an autistic brother on a daily basis.
Thank you for your reply. Am I allowed to repost this message on the servers board? Or is there a way to have my message moved there?
Thank you again for your reply, and yes, it is sad that people can be so mean.
You can report your original post and request that it be moved to the Servers section, though there's no telling if the request will go through or not.
Reposting works just as well, though for keeping the forum tidy, I'd recommend reporting your own post and ask for it to be moved to the Servers section.
No worries. I've moved it to the Servers section for you.
Good luck finding a nice server for your kids. You're a great mother!
(Fair warning though; these servers are for the PC version of Minecraft, not the mobile version. I'm not sure which versions of the game you have, so if you already have the PC version, great! Otherwise it's $26.95 at https://minecraft.net/ )
although my son does not have autism he is special needs. an many of his issues mimic autism so my nine year old son often is in tears also. as for jumping through the screen i am so glad to hear i am not the only mom that has felt that way. my son plays on the ps3 which is a little easier to control because i can have some control of his friends. anyway just wanted you to know that i truly feel your pain an hope that someone reads this an maybe just maybe changes their attitudes when on the game that is obviously not intended for that.

Just thought I'd give you the heads up!
PAandW, I think you moved it to the wrong section. She stated in her post an "iPad", which doesn't quite mean PC.

Your son and I both will never understand why someone would do that >.>
My daughter and I have played minecraft for four years now and are opening a server in the next week. We are working on TOwny plugins and that can be challenging. I am an "old fogie" mom whose oldest son has Asperger's so we totally "get" that developed sense of fairness. The server is family run and we encourage family play. We have grief protections in place, but we can't certify that nasty people won't ever show up, but you can assure the boys that the staff will fix it for them if anything happens. It's a nice group of people. I used to teach middle and high school English, my future son-in-law is training as a teacher and we are about as safe as it gets in multiplayer. Give us a week, then one evening, come hang out with us and see if it's a good fit for you guys. Meanwhile, chck out our website and contact us if you have questions.

Oh, I totally misread the post before that... Very sorry about that.
We'll move it back to the MCPE servers section then.
Thanks GM027!
and P.S I have Autism as well, so I think me and your Children will get along nicely. (I'm 13)
