Hi! So I was interested in creating a server map for PE by generating a flat world type and then editing it with MCEdit. But when I created the map in-game and then opened it in MCEdit, a few chunks would load while others would not. I assumed the non-loaded chunks were “invisible” but still present. However, it turned out that whatever chunks did not load were literally destroyed after transferring back to PE. To make matters worse, beyond the chunks the map regenerated into a random infinite world type, meaning the flat world was present but at its border were tall walls of ocean and land. In turn I tried making the flat map in MCEdit first and then transferring, but the same problem continued. This actually happens for any map type, where it combines it with the zero seed map, but I’m more focused on a flat map. (To be honest the ravaged cross-cuts look super cool, but...) I’m using MCEdit 1.0 and have PE v0.13.2. I’ve copied the folder correctly into the “minecraftWorlds” folder through iExplorer. I don’t think it’s a problem with copy and paste, but I’m not sure. Is it a problem with the game version? Unsupported map file? I’m using .dat files. Any suggestions? Thank you so much.
