So I have an extra quad core Android phone laying around. I am not going to run a PC full time so do not mention PC hosting.
I want to play with my kids and have setup the phone with the full version and I have it hosting successfully but we cannot play on anything but creative because the phones character will die from starvation in survival.
The play store has a server called pocketmine but it seems that it is no longer updated to the latest releases. I have looked all over the web but have found nothing solid to host a survival from the phone.
Anyone have any info on how to do this.
Also I noticed that there is a good bit of waiting for "chunks" to load using the full PE version on the phone. It's not my network as we are all on a high-performance AC router and can copy 5gig files in a min.
I createt a little Mod for you. It sets the Health of the Player (with Player I mean the character of the phone you use to host the server) and the hunger full each second and let the player fly in the air, 550 blocks y, so you can build everywhere and don´t need to care for this player.
To use this Mod you have to install it with BlockLauncher (App from the App Store, you only need to install it on the phone you use as host).
