Yeah, the only way you could do it is to make a separate render for all the mobs, as I don't *think* ModPE has support for custom armour renderers yet.

Is it possible to make armor with a custom render type? maybe using another .png file specificly for that piece?

Well i wanted to put it on a mob and i didnt want to have to make a custom render for each mob.
