Like the title says I need help with custom mobs if anyone could show me how to make custom mobs attack the player on sight.

There is now direct way to do that with ModPE, you could make the custom mob be a zombie or something like that, or look with modTick() if the Player is in the near of your custom mob and deal damage to the Player.
