So after I found the bug with ModPE.saveData, I am wondering can I create a text file, save data in it when I leave the game, and then read the data when the world is opened.
If u can help, leave links to tutorials on creating, encoding, and reading a txt file or leave code in the coment, THX!
Been browsing the code of mods, incase you guys have no idea what I mean, heres an example:
In extended craft, when you logg out of the world you update/create a txt file call world name save, and when you log back in they use that file to see the data saved.
I plan to use this method because modpe savedata resets when u close block launcher, however I understand almost nothing of extended craft's create file decode encode etc.
if can help me understand or tell me a how to code it, it would be much appropriated
First off- dont use the github link. It doesn't work.
Second- Go to www.youtube.com/xxArjay07xx and find his java pe series. He goes into great detail of how to read and write files

don't really understand it, merged codes, manage to create a txt file, but still don't know how to change the variables back
