EVERYONE Back when the team tried to port mcpe 1.6 onto a tablet they did it they just didnt release it i say WE TRY TO PORT MINECRAFT 1.7 Onto A TABLET!
Hi. Sorry, it's very difficult to read this post without cracking up
There ARE multiple ways to port Minecraft 1.7 to Android/iPhone. The easiest and most likely way is that we port the actual Java application to Android. It is impossible to use this method on an iOS device because Apple does not allow Java on the iPhone. However it may be possible on Android.

Curse PremiumI've tried it (twice), and both times I gave up pretty quickly. But then again, I don't know OpenGL, so good luck: I would love to see this happen.
Minecraft's server can already run on Android; the client's graphics are rendered with OpenGL, not OpenGL ES, so will need (extensive?) modifications.
