Tutorial for Mods/Unlocks:
1. Go to settings<Device<Allow Installation of Applications<Turn On.
2. Download Pockettool from the Appropriate places. (This is not in the Amazon store, Download from the forum in the link above.)
3. Download ES File Explorer( In Amazon Store)
4. Go to one of the above links to download a Mod(Unlock)
5. Go into ES File Explored<downloads<unzip the zipped mod.
6. Copy or cut the .mod folder.
7. Go into Android<Data<com.Joshuahuelsman.pockettool<Patches
8. Copy .mod files into Patches. A. If the Patches folder isnt there, download Ultimate Tool Kit for Minecraft PE. Hit the repair button in the app. Go back to com.joshuahuelsman.pockettool folder the Patches folder should be there. NOTE: Its possible that the com.joshuahuelsman.pockettool folder will not be there. Use the same step as for fixing the missing patches folder.
9. Go into Pockettool<Tool Kit<Patch Mod<(Click on .mod and longpress)<Patch of Course!
10. Click the menu button at the bottom of the screen. (Its in between the back and search button)
11. Apply Changes.
12. It will need to Uninstall Minecraft PE and reinstall. (It will happen automatically)
13. Start playing and have fun! TEXTURE PACKS:
1. Follow steps 1- 3 in the Tutorial for installing mods.
2. Download Texture Packs ( I did not include links to that. GO into the Texture Pack section on Minecraftforum.net)
3. Go into Pockettool after download is complete.
4. Pockettool<install Downloaded Content<(Click on your texture pack)<install
5.Pockettool<tool kit<Change texture/skin< (Choose the name of your texture pack)
6. Longpress it<Use texture
7. Follow 11-13 in the Tutorial for installing mods.
NOTE: Please make sure the texture pack is a Minecraft PE one and its updated to the current game update,
P.S. Skins work the same way.

That is really strange I haven't seen that happen before. Have you tried downloading the mods from dropbox?
I did not use the (install all mods button" on ultimate tool kit. But id think it would still work. Please try that and tell me if it works or doesn't so we can figure this out.:)

Hmmmmm..... it should all work! THis doesnt make sense. Okay you could delete All three apps(Minecraft,pockettool, UTK) and reinstall them.
But make sure if you have any maps you want to keep to save them. This would be logical to do if nnothing else is working.

I have the first generation kindle fire and my brother has the second generation. Do you have the Kindle Fire HD?

Im not entirely sure about IOS, but currently i do know that you need to jailbreak. So unless your willing to jailbreak you cant get any mods.

It really should work. Did you delete. All the files that came with pockettool?
Do you use a file explorer?
Try uninstall, reboot, install, reboot.

That shouldn't matter id think. Do you mean bard reset? But besides that I think it has to do with how the kindle is reading the app.
