Because. I wanted to make my tethered jailbreak to untethered via cydia, as absinthe 2.0.1 doesnt works with my ipad

There is no other Jailbreak for 5.1.1...well Iv'e heard of some kind of paid Jailbreak, but haven't cared enough to look into it. If you need any help shoot me a message.

I used redsn0w to tether my itouch 4, but dont know if it works on ipad 2

there IS jailbreak UNTHETER AND FREE for A5 , A5X and A4 devices, is called ABSINTHE 2.0 and you can download in www.greenpois0n.com YOU'RE WELCOME!!!!

edit: redsnow only works on A4 devices, you can theter them and then in cydia use the tweak rooky racoon and you make it untheter

why? you cannot restore, you cannot upgrade or you cannot jailbreak? my friend's ipad 2 is jailbroken, he just upgraded and jailbreak.

Absinthe 2.0.1 got a fix for iPad2.4. Also there is a newer version now Absinthe 2.0.2 you should try that!

I Jailbreaked my iPad2 with 2.0.1 and it worked.

Just wondering, do you have plans to implement an actual 6-7 inventory mod into the tool if it's possible? I could really benefit from that since 3 inventory spaces are limited on my iPhone 4
