This is my petition for ModPE scripts to be available to all players and not just the host over a local network. E.g. wifi network. I am an Android user so I'm not sure if this affects iOS users as well. Please 500ISE let us use our scripts with our friends and block launcher not disable scripts over a local network.
The reason why it doesn't support Multiplayer is because of crashing.
In the beginning when ModPE was new block launcher did not disable scripts over wifi and I never had a single crash when playing with friends using a variety of scripts. I agree not all scipts worked perfectly for all players but most did. Even now with scripts disabled over wifi some still work but not all. I'm not asking for them to be enabled of internet servers just wifi. I don't believe any of the scripts I have made and want to use will crash me or my friends.

Yes and then we could create disguise mods and more.
Problem is ModPE has no concept of other players - e.g. procCmd does not include a way to find which player ran the command.
My scripts only use procCmd to get an item that is needed later on in the mod, I can work around that and use other ways to add needed items to inventory instead of procCmd. I feel it's a worthwhile trade off to have scripts available in wifi multiplayer.

procCmd will run locally, and give you the item. I'm not sure about useItem - I've never ran a script in multiplayer before.
OK here is what I found out. The last player to tap, break, place, etc. Will be the player to run the command. So useItem should work unless I'm wrong but that is how it works if u r the host.

Specifically, the launcher checks for the IP address that one is trying to connect to, and if it begins with 127., 10., or 192.168., then it knows it's a local game and grants access to scripts.
Again, if I see anyone griefing with this, I will hunt you down and slap you with a large trout.
