I was wondering if there could be a input of a texture pack without deleting the texture pack its self or copying it over it would make things so much easier
woah. that is a big leap you are trying to do there!!
But it can be done without overwriting the original texture pack. For example.
An app that puts in the texture you want to use. and in the process, it renames all the orginal textures, and puts in the new one.
for example, the app force closes the app, duplicates all the original texture, and renames the duplicates to a 2 in the end, (ex. char.png to char2.png)
deletes the orignal textures. replaces them with the desired one and poof!! you have a new texture!!!
and to go back to original, it changes the modded texture to a 2, and deletes the 2 on the duplicated original texture. so you can revert to normal minecraft!!
p.s. i will also try to make an app that does the above for ios and android!!
Yea so have I but I need a way to put my own on it because I'm testing a new texture pack I made that's kinda but I have no idea how to transfer it to winterboard to allow to activated
