Well I have been thinking for awhile about the divine rpg mod and how it adds more mobs right? well maybe instead of making simple old mods that just change your render distance maybe somebody could code and make a mob that is basicly a boss mob or something and what I mean by that is some body could edit the code to allow more mobs aka mob1.dat is zombie mob2.dat is creeper mob3.dat is robot skeleton.....it would also be easy to add more ores that make more armour and tool set's right if you like my idea and hope someone makes it a reality post a comment below .ps I can't make the mod myself cause I don't know any much code and haven't jailbroken my ipod 5 SO DONT ASK
As a modder myself, I have to say this: At this moment, minecraft pocket edition modding is still unexpereienced most mods are made by using HxD Editors, however an exception are two mods which (are for ios), create a button *toggeable* when activated, activates a mod, or something.
So anyway, as i was saying, this is impossible. Also im pretty sure there is no mob.dat file...
Anyway, for more armor, the best you could do is maybe change 5 types of wool or something to create chain armor, and rename and retexture chain armor.
Also the only new weapon you can create is probably a shovel. Please next time refer to the thread inside mod/tools by linkisheroic. thanks.
ok sorry I dint know ;] ..... I thought there was a mob file containing the mob entites but o well any way ill lokk harder to see whats possible next time .... I guess this is A rEaLy BaD mOd IDeA!
