This mod adds 4 new lights into Minecraft PE:
Lantern:
The lantern can be placed on all 6 sides of the block, and will render differently depending on the side of the block it's placed on.
The Ceiling Light:
This light can only be placed on the ceiling.
Old Street Light:
This street light can be placed on the top of a block.
Modern Street Light:
This street light has to be placed by clicking on the side of a block. The light will face away from the block you clicked.
Update V2.0: You can now give the lights any color you like by simply clicking an existing light with a dye (the dye does not get consumed)
Will you update this for 0.12 now when BlockLauncher is officially released for 0.12?
I'll try to get all my popular mods updated to 0.12 when BL is fully out for 0.12. Most of the mods (tat don't use texture packs) will probably work fine at that point, and if not, it's probably because some function isn't fully working yet. In that case we'll probably just have to wait. But I'll sure be following BlockLaunchers development and testingtesting my mods.

Anyways, I meant to say if different colored lights will be a considered update. You would simply put the lamp, and a specific color in a crafting table/stonecutter. And vuala! Red ceiling lamps! Green lanterns! Aqua Street Lights, and etc! By coloring, I mean coloring the yellow/glass part of the lamp. I know coloring the light is impossible for now. I mean the blocks/lamps. And good mod! And how did you manage to render blocks like that!?

Sound like a good idea. And I know how bad it is on mobile...
If you look good enough you'll notice every different shaped/textured part of the lights is in a separate block. And you can set the shape of an entire block simply by calling Block.setShape
