After PocketPower Was released, he issued a statement saying "Stop Updating!!!", essentially saying that if you want redstone, you can just head over to get the PocketPower mod.
Myself, like others, it seems cannot use PocketPower. Either we do not want to give up the rest of our mods, or there is some issue with getting PP to load up.
I personally spent about 2-3 hours trying to work out why it would not work on my Nexus 6. After that, I gave it up and went about writing the Super Door Operator 2000 Mod. Basically to give myself the functions I wanted. After releasing that as well as 1 update to it, I got distracted by locating Hao's thread. I'd never seen this thread!
So, determining that this was abandoned, I contacted Hao and made multiple pleas on the forum in case anyone knew Hao to see if I could secure permission to take this over. I wanted to give Hao credit as all I saw a need for was a tweak to make the "right" blocks and make the engine comply to the PC redstone (block ids, item ids, Mojang data values, etc.). I'm happy to say that after some work, I was able to get Levers, Slimeblocks, Redstone Torches, Repeaters working close to proper! There are quirks, but those nit-picky details are something I may not ever deal with. My goal was to get close to PC without a LOT of effort - as well as make it so any Redstone creation I make will be 90% of the way there if/when MCPE gets Redstone built in.
So, without further delay
Permission:
Welcome to hxREDSTONE!
Updated to 10.0.0.4 with proper YAW calculation bug squashed (this was rampant throughout my mods!)
It requires BL 1.9.10+ due to texture pack compatibility
Updates (pulled from the original thread):
Slimeblock skin added from PC's textures
Repeater Skin behaves and gives the proper information (although it is a BLOCK instead of like on PC)
Repeater now uses proper block ID and data values to track direction / delay values
Levers work with new block ID data value and skin
Skin is actually a glowing toggle button, instead of a lever (skinning issue)
By leveraging the built in engine - luckily the logic seems the same as PC for block placement - you can "hit" sand / gravel with a block on a piston while it is falling (must be in mid-air) and it will "smash" into an item instead of a fallen block!
Known issues:
For now, it seems that you need to start the new world in CREATIVE or be a world from 10.5. If you start in creative, then use the built in Minecraft functions or TMI or some other method to switch back to survival, that seems to fix the pistons. I do not know why, but if you make a VANILLA Survival world, then try to use Redstone pistons. For some reason they do not operate. Lamps and repeaters and Redstone "wire" seem to function AOK.
As of this writing, torches still have a direction to their power (should not have)
Changed the skin to show a little arrow to help users along until I get that worked out
Added "tap" to turn feature in case the torch gets placed wrong - you can turn it to match the direction you need it to face
I believe I know where this is happening in the code and depending on how "hard" this is, I might try to fix it.
Repeaters now have the proper timing for "1" redstone tick...although 2,3,4 redstone ticks do not register as "redstone" devices.
I think I worked out where this is.
Redstone Torches stack like blocks...due to skinning issues, I think this is going to just be an issue...
Redstone "wire" is actually a BLOCK, this is going to be a LOT of work to change, so I'm probably NOT going to do that
Redstone wire can directly power a piston - maybe I'll look into this one, but more pressing issues to work on
Buttons are not animated - will require a skin to get this to work
If you break the block a button is sitting on, the button stays there floating - ala Minecraft logic style
Levers can be placed as with ANY block, however, if you place one on the BOTTOM of an overhanging block, until I fix up the skin, it will float in mid air. Sorry, but it works!
Levers need to be monitored when the level is loaded. I found that they seem to have a quirk when loading. This is a larger fix than I wanted to deal with, but hey, I want this working...so yeah!
Found by one of my testers: when the piston "breaks" a melon in PC, it leave the melon pieces...this does not do that (for now)
Here is all the YouTube Teaser videos I made so far (some just showing my development, one showing a super stone generator that I made):
I have made and tested a Redstone CLOCK using repeaters, a lever, redstone torch and redstone. Seems to work. The only "catch" is that it acts funny if you do not turn it off before you exit the game. So, there is a bit of a quirk to it, but I should be able to resolve that later on.
The plan is to release this by the end of next week (8/14). I've been playing with it on 0.11.1 since I decided I wanted to take this over.
I have plans to CONTINUE this into 0.12, as soon as I can get a version of BlockLauncher that works with 0.12, I'll be running this.
Everything I have done to the original code was to make it compliant to the original game code and flow. As such, aside from bug fixes, I cannot think that this is going to have any issues with 0.12.
I'm expecting my beta testers to give feedback before 8/14. I've already listed all the issues / bugs / quirks that I am aware of. Aside from those, this should work!
I would like to add in RedStone controlled rails as my next major feature. There is a lot of code in there for this already, but it does not seem to work. At least I could not make it work. I'm fully willing to admit that it is me!

I need to add 2 more features to my Super Door Operator 2000 Mod, then I will be getting back to this. My beta testers have been really been working hard and I wanted to thank them!
What is really interesting to me, is each tester seems to really focus on things that interests them.
One tester has been focusing on creating things like TNT Cannons and other "typical" things like that (hence my example above). One of my other testers has found a lot of "system" level bugs. The biggest being the enter vanilla survival bug - or whatever it is!
Anyway, I know they are spending many many hours on this and I do hope to get all the bugs worked out. I'm not sure that I ever will, but at least I am going to try!
If there is anyone that wants to help track down bugs or even add features or work on any part of this, I would like to offer this ability to the community. I'm a big proponent of community support. You never know who has what skills that can add something to this project!
Aside from the bugs, there are 3 "droppers" and "dispensers" that are in the code. It would be good to finish those up. I also have an idea to add in a few NEW redstone machines. one being a vacuum. As items get near the block, they should get sucked in and popped into a chest. Similar to a hopper. I'm not sure I want to add a hopper, since I can imagine 0.13 having Redstone.
This leads me to write about the future of this MOD:
I saw a few tweets from Tommaso Checchi where he was hinting at more "big" things in 0.13. The only other BIG things I can think of is The End and Redstone. With the Nether being added, I can imagine that there are easy mechanisms to add new dimensions now. So, I can see with official Redstone that some of the engine in this mod would go away. I am guessing that this would then act as GLUE for new Redstone devices. This would be things like the vacuum, or other MODS that hxRedstone will tie into. Right now I am in the middle of adding hxRedstone triggering into Super Door Operator as well as in communication with 3 other mod authors to add in triggering mechanisms in their mods by using hxRedstone.

I just tested it with Chrome on Windows. It opens up a page where you can view the file. Then if you click the down arrow at the top middle of the screen you should be able to download the .js file.
Are you able to get the texture pack OK?
What browser are you using to access the link? I can try the same.

I have found that the repeaters will only place certain ways no matter what you do or how you areare positioned. I do like the block as the wire since I can go directly up, but still the repeaters bother me as they go how they feel thich tends to one of two directions either right, or straight ahead. And due to that I can't get my hidden doors to work. I know I could just use super door which is nice but for me no matter what I try will only be double slabs. As said though their is pro's and con's as with anything. I love that you have the only slime block that mostly works - bounce and for some reason it decided to change texture to water. Even with everything else off, even tmi. Although if you can get detector rails and can fix the issues with the repeaters I'll love you forever and call you Susan.
Thanks for reminding me. I use a YAW calculation to determine direction. In the first release that was broken. I fixed it later on while investigating an issue in a different mod. I think I already updated this with my first attempt at the fix...which was wrong...but never put the final fix in there. I'll post an update ASAP!
As for Super Door, I'll address that in that thread.
I've not seen the slime block turn to water. Looks like I have some investigating to do! The detector rails is not too difficult to do, and it is on the list of things to add if I have time to do it.

oh...I know what you are seeing...does it look like FLOWING water, but only on one or two sides? Maybe Lava on another side?
If so, that is the texture pack bug I referred to. There is nothing I can do about that as it is a Block Launcher issue. The only thing I can suggest you try is move the hxRedstone texture pack to the TOP of the list in your textures...I have had some success at that. I have not actually seen that bug since moving to 0.12.1 and the latest Blocklauncher. Are you on BL Pro?
FYI, that bug is another reason I never bothered to finish up more textures. If they were not going to work...why fix them? :-)
With 0.12, I have not had that issue. I'm more than happy to include as well as add the code if someone wants to donate some textures. Even if you had a better idea about the lever. I just use the colored "button" as it was really easy to use. I tried to do the actual lever, but MODPE limits our ability to create shapes.
