The Camouflage Block is crafted using 8 wood and 1 bonemeal. You can change it's texture by clicking on it with a block in your hand. To remove the block from the Camouflage Block, just break it again.
This is a great idea for a mod! I can feel a lot of trolling coming! Especially with fake diamonds and other precious ores! Great Job! One question though, do special blocks still keep their abilities? For example, if you disguised one of the camo blocks as ice, would you still slide on it, or would it still have the same qualities as the camo block itself?

It will keep its abilities. It saves the location of the camo block, and then replaces that block with the block in the players hand. If a block gets broken, it will check if there was a camo block there before. If so, it'll replace it with a camo block again
