player/mob place indicator won't come in the near future because that needs a lot of calculation. Mob indicator are like waypoints that move around . Multiplayer support shouldn't be that hard
at the Moment only the Host can use the minimap on local multiplayer.
Just ad this to the script and it works at Multiplayer!:
-----
var on = 0;
function procCmd(command) {
var cmd = command.split(" ");
var myCommand = "minimap";
if(cmd[0] == myCommand) {
if(on==0){
on = 1;
newLevel();
}else{
on = 0;
leaveGame();
}
}
}
but you can not see all points from the Menu. It would better if it would be smaller (I know on a Tablet it is smaller, but not on a Smartphone).
do you mean the button when the map is closed? It is hard to choose a button size that matches to all Screen sizes. I used Density-independent Pixels to define the button sizes so they should have the same size on all devices. perhaps I'll make it smaller.

Sorry, the time I wrote that I didn't knew you have to press long for a menu, sorry.

no Problem.
I solved the minimap in multiplayer a bit different so you don't have to type in a command. I used the modTick hook:
function modTick() {
if (startMapControl) {startMapControl = false; startMap()}
}
when the modTick hook is called first it will start the map and sets the startMapControl variable to false in order to prevent the code to start the minimap again.
None of my builds on my hotel map show up. Shows grass where there should be. most of them are made of bricks
Briks have the Color of grass on the map at the Moment, I'll change that. Buildings often don't look very nice because I don't check every block from the top of the world with Level.getTile(x,y,z) to speed up the map drawing.
MxGoldo you can also make a damage indicator to see what damage and the remains hearts.... That should be good and 1 more less mod... I hope to think at my ideea....
At the Moment my main goal is to optimize the minimap. when I eventually add mob indicators on the map then I could think about damage indicators.
Can I share to my blog and cafe? if you allow this, I'll write your name and its link.
can I?
You can share the mod but You must include a link to here in order to let the viewer download the latest version. Do not share it on mcpeuniverse or mcpehub.
I definitely gonna do that. thanks for the Suggestion.
what do you mean with map idea?
