I CHALLENGE YOU TO MAKE A LAMP MOD!!! It's basically similar to the Dynamic lights mod from pc,you walk around holding an item and there will be a light source following you like a torch being placed below you,your mod must not involve torches or glowstone and other custom blocks being placed below or around you while ur walking.



The lamp must be an item or a block (if necessary) that you could hold,and cannot be placed.



P/s:Add lamp oils which you need to power up the lamp

Then, it's not possible, though there is only a function that sets the light level of custom blocks (and there is no way to do it with items).

Well that's a bummer...

Actuallt it's possible, I haven't tried it since I don't know much about modpe or c++ but the idea should be like a custom rendered to look like a lamp and would glow when held, just like a glowstone but with different rendering

Yes, but I was talking about script mods. Native (c++) mods are hard to made even without making custom renderers. I'm currently learning how to make them. When I know enough, I will make a mod like this and tell you.

It sets ALL blocks with the id of the block under you on light... not only the block under you! And it doesnt reset light

Yeah. I think that's what he wants. The thing is, on MCPC this was actually achieved by Shaders and not MCPC mods.

I think I'll add it where they light up in your hand, AND they're placeable.
