Not compatible with essentials plugin
Dragonet has a Glowstone base, which does not include the external library that Essentials plugin uses (I think there might be an older version that does not use it though)

We can fix Essentials to support it, right?
Dragonet 0.0.2-preR3 has been released, which includes a huge bug fix.
Also the upcoming 0.0.2-preR4 will support chat colors!
Protocol updated to 0.11.0 build 13.
New features added.
I'm having a lot of trouble keeping up. The PE Beta versions are hard to get, or the constantly updated server isn't lined up with my beta version.
As a best practice, can you please host all your latest versions as they come out? For instance, I see there is a version for protocol 11 build 14 on the Github, but I do not know how to compile this code, so I'm looking for the jar file.
Can you 1. Host every jar file
and 2. Possibly host its mate .apk for the beta minecraft? ( i know this is discouraged, but if you can find a way I'd be grateful)
That is so illegal I can't even fathom doing that....

I read somewhere that you can enable beta versions in the Play Store (google it, I guess)
Ok, it's fine, post the jars whenever you want.
Right now one of our bigger issues on this end is that PE Clients don't get every chunk loaded. Initial chunks will load, but there will invariably be chunks that are struggling. Is this a PE client issue, or can the server help fix this issue?
We have to fix errors and implement new features for each release, code on Github may not work properly.
I see, thank you for the clarification! I did not realize you were timing release. Please update us with a working jar at your earliest convenience. We have multiple devices, and right now only 1/6 even has the correct beta. (I think it's build 12) which works with 9-11 somehow, which shouldn't even work!
is skript compatible ?
http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/skript
Yep! It will give a bunch of errors on startup because some blocks are not implemented though

I have a big huge question so get ready;
My question is what does it really does because what I have read is that you can connect to a server with pe and PC players?
I also read you can make js (JavaScript) into plugins for servers, but is it slightly different or is it the same, and the server is gonna be from pocket mine or do you need to buy a server or something?
How do you make it work am I suppose to drop it in a folder or something?
And finally it said i can use bukkit plugins , is that even possible? If so can I use a hunger games bukkit plugin?
im a modder/programmer/friendly and so much more.
ask me whatever you want though im not an expert I just help with what I can.
Yes, that's right - Dragonet does indeed let you run a server for both MCPE and PC players. Cool, isn't it?
The JavaScript system is basically a whole new API - so it is not currently compatible with PocketMine (but it might be later).
Hosting wise (assuming that's what you mean by "buying a server"), you can basically use any method - self hosting, services such as MCPro, multi-server machines, whatever you want.
As I said before, it works with basically any method. If all you want to do is start a simple little server for testing or local play, it's basically the same as Bukkit/Glowstone. Just dunk it in a folder, pull up a terminal in the same folder and run java.
Yes, this is possible. You can simply drop Bukkit plugins into Dragonet's "plugins" folder and they work. Unfortunately this is a bit unstable so most plugins won't work yet (I'm actually thinking of making a collection of plugins modded to work). You'll just have to try it and see.
Few questions. 1 How do you run it? I looked at the wiki. I typed it in it says cant access dragonet.jar
2 I clicked the dragonet.jar and it ran but no console. Is there a console with this software?
3 Every time I join it crashes the server
Thanks. Looks like this has big potential!
That error (usually) means that it can't find the Dragonet server files. You probably misspelled the command, named the file something different to dragonet.jar, or you didn't start the command prompt in the same folder as the jar file.
If you run the command in the wiki successfully the server should start in the console you ran it from.
Well, um, see... Uh...
Can you get an error message out of it? If it crashes when joining from a PE client, try adding -Xms1024M to the command (although I'm pretty sure the wiki version has the same thing)
A VPS is definitely an option, but it's one of the most expensive available. I'd go for something like MCProHosting, but you'd have to check what plan you need to have a second port (one for MCPE and one for MCPC). Alternatively, if you have a PC that's on 24/7, you can self-host which is basically free.
Another question can I use this directly on my tablet because I want to do it in my tablet but I don't know how to do it?
