Many of you probably don't know me since I'm not very active on Minecraft forums but don't let this newcomer fool you. I'm very active in the jailbreak community and have some popular tweaks up on the Cydia Store. My sibling is a huge fan of MCPE and asked me to create something for them to enjoy and I decided to share.
Introducing QuickCraft
(Disregard the subtitle of the header, I needed a placeholder for now.)
QuickCraft features 3 big things.
World Options in which you can toggle on free crafting, flying in survival, no damage, and many more options. (Do you have suggestions of things I should have? Let me know! I'll try adding feature requests that are reasonable)
World Converter which allows you to easily convert your old words to the new infinite worlds as well as changing your infinite to flat, or flat to infinite.
Another huge part of it is Texture Pack Loading. Download textures packs can be easily enabled and disabled (think Winterboard but without the respring). This part of the tweak will require texture pack creators to package their texture packs in a particular manner when uploading to Cydia so that my tweak can pick them up and apply them. This requires creating one plist with your texture packs information. If you don't know how to create deb files to submit to Cydia I can help you with this part. Although I would like to include 2-3 texture packs with the tweak I don't really want to go through permissions/licsensing issues with current texture packs. Due to this I have a designer friend creating 2 texture packs from scratch which I will include with this tweak.
I know I shouldn't announce this before it's completely done but I couldn't resist.
Right now the only thing delaying a release is the two texture packs my friend is creating, I am also creating nifty icons for the settings pane and overall brushing the tweak up for release. Also as with all my other projects I like to have full translations for every language iOS supports so if you're interested in translating this mod into your native language please let me know.
Can't wait for release! I would gladly also make an 8-bit/plastic texture pack for this within 4-6 days, but could get finished by tommarow night if you are rushing, i may also be able to help with spanish translation. PM if you are interested
I'll choose beta testers a little closer to launch, last time I did that with one of my tweaks someone leaked it way early.

I'm not in a huge rush to release, my friend is going on vacation for a week so that's about the time frame for the texture packs he is creating. In the meantime I will write up some documentation for texture pack creators to have an idea how to package their texture packs to submit to Cydia.
The translations will also take a while since there are about 25 languages iOS supports and I want to really check them before releasing since I've also had people say they are fluent with a language just so they could get a beta to translate and then produced really crude machine translated text I then had complaints from users of that language.
This looks amazing! Thanks for adding something for us iOS dudes! Android guys have been having all the fun recently! Also, by any chance, do you know if there could be a ModPE-esque program for 0.9.x? Because right now all script-based mods are restricted to Android devices because they have Block Launcher. I don't know if you know anything about that, but let me know if you do! Again, thanks for working on this!
With the release of 0.9.4 I found out that iOS MCPE could be modded. If possible, can you add this feature-to add mods.....and change skins.....kind of like BlockLauncher but for iOS.
I know you can change skins with iFile or iFunBox, but it would be much easier this way.
I know JavaScript quite well, so if you need help, feel free to PM me.

Changing skins I can easily add, allowing mods to be added will be a little more difficult due to everyone having to use the same language if they want to make new add-on modes for this. I've been using Objective-C for a large part of it and I don't know how others feel about that.

I'm aiming for less than two weeks. Once beta starts it'll be on my personal repo, I will update the post with the repo url once the beta is up.

I have one of those installed and it does not work very well because different map creators package their maps differently.

That looks really good!

Yes currently only tested on iOS 7.1.2 and MCPE 0.9.4. During the beta period I'll fix all issues if any for lower firmwares.
This has been highly requested so I will look into implanting this, hopefully as an in-game button
