Pokecube PE v2.7 News:
You can choose from 3 Johto Starters.
New Encounter Rates: Normal Pokemon are hard to find -> Starters in the wild are harder -> Legendaries are the hardest.
Apricorns drop from breaking tree leaves.
There are even shiny variants of some pokemon.
New Pokemon (with models added), old pokemon got some retextures and models worked on.
Professor Oak is added.

Saving is only half functional, saving everything but the mobs itself. So it is not present.
Still waiting on bulbasaur to be finished and squirtles texture, so the kanto trio are not present.
do you have the bulbasaur and the squirtle model or should i make it?
i can also make ivysaur or the evolution of squirtle (english names of pokemon are so hard )

In v3?
Basically like in Pokecube PC.
When you encounter a pokemon, you have the option to battle it and if you do... Then your pokemon will just start attacking it, and the enemy pokemon will start attacking your pokemon and you just watch. Instead of writing the whole code out for this, I can wait till wolves are out and basically all the code i need to write will be greatly reduced - which is why v3 is going to come out with MCPE 0.9.0

Things that didnt make it due to time constraints or bugs, etc:
Save system (bug, everything was saving but the mobs hopefully will be fixed for v3)
Kanto Trio (Squirtle and Bulbasaur wasnt finished in time)
Battle system (partially coded, waiting for wolf ai from 0.9.0)
Mob Sounds
If MCPE v0.9.0 doesn't come out in a few weeks/a month. A version 2.8 will come out for Pokecube PE that will include Mob Sounds, a completed Save system, etc.

I have an ideafor the battle system
You could have a gui (like the m button on too many items) and in it it would have a battle button and when you clicked it it would say tap the Pokemon you want to battle. Then when tap a Pokemon it would pull up a GUI of your Pokemons move set and then it would let you click a move, and it would also show the opponents hp.but this is all incase you dont have it planned out

Watch: People are still pokemon at their heart, and evolved from pokemon.
And... People can be caught in (ancient) pokeballs.
