The link 500ISE gave me showed up correctly and I could login from that page. So it was not an issue with my network.
After reading some replies in this thread and reviews in the Play Store I found that many people have had the same issue like mine, I guess maybe it's a problem with Android 2.3.*? So I'm posting how I solved the issue hope it can be of any help.
The way I solved the problem was tricky:
I input my email address and password like I normally do.
After my email address and password were authenticated, I noticed a page showed up telling me login successful, there was a blue button in the bottom saying "Return to app" (or return to Minecraft PE I have forgotten).
The page mentioned above only showed up for half a second and then it got redirected to the "Returning to Minecraft Pocket Edition" page which I had got stuck in.
So I tried to login again, and as soon as the webpage with the blue button showed up, I pressed the button and I logged in!
I also tried the same method on another device which had had the same issue and it worked.
Just try again if u fail to press the blue button, the timing of pressing the button is tricky.
I'll bring up an Android 2.3 emulator tomorrow to track down the issue.

including the origional one, and the one that comes with the application.
for example the diamond shovel looks like a diamond hoe, and the pickaxe looks like a shovel,
the majority of the items have the wrong image, though most of the blocks are accurate.
I'm having trouble getting mods to work. Installed every thing alright but they are not seeming to work.
(I have the snow grenade mod, playertag mod, and the no charge arrows mod.) I have safe mode on, experiential addon thing on, but they still don't work. THANK YOU FOR BEING A SIR. Is it an older version's textures? If so, the gui_blocks.png probably doesn't match. The built-in one should work though. Safe mode should be off for that to work.

Hi, I need help! Every time I try to login to my mojang account with Blocklauncher, everything goes fine until this step, it gets stuck on this screen:
Logging in from the MCPE app is fine and has no problem.
I have the same problem... help?
EDIT: Im using a kindle fire 1st generation 6.3.2 and i can log in with normal mcpe
It's the wrench icon on the top of your screen. If you enabled "hide in game patch manager", it will be invisible, but it will still be at the middle of the top of your screen.
LOL i thought hovercar was a mod for a well...hovercaralso my noarrowcharge.mod isn't working but the rest of my mods do.
My no arrow charge mod doesn't work but my other mods do
my loaded mods: snowball grenade, fly in survival, ultra items in creative, username tag mod, cave mod (about to delete does not work),
addons: sprinting and sneaking
and no arrow charge mod of cource
Umm... I have just updated MCPE to 0.7.2, and for some reason when I open Blocklauncher it just says "Blocklauncher has stoppedstopped". Any suggestions or does Blocklauncher need a new update?

Curse PremiumI'll bring up an Android 2.3 emulator tomorrow to track down the issue.
Try making your phone lag a bit by running many apps at the same time as your r logging in...

Curse PremiumSafe mode == no mod patching. Turn it off.
Is it an older version's textures? If so, the gui_blocks.png probably doesn't match. The built-in one should work though. Safe mode should be off for that to work.

It works rarely but most of the time no. I tried reinstalling and restarting the phone but still
