That has worked for ages actually, otherwise SteelBrothers Faithful 32x texture pack or Spax Pocketbdcraft would have bugs, and on the non-beta version of Bloclaucnher pro, they work fine
Nope, x32 have had no problem for ages. But scince 0.9x, it tells you the your new texture does not exist. As long as you are not changing the texture names, it works fine.

The correct answer would be x86 chips, not intel specific (Although as far as I know, Intel Atom CPUs are the only x86 cpus used in some Android devices)

No! Because when you buy an apple product instead of YOU having control over it, like Android, APPLE has control over it. Blocklauncher, to be able to patch mods, has to be able to modify the files of Minecraft PE. You can to do that with Android because Android actually lets you own your device. However with an apple product instead of you owning it apple owns it, kind of you renting their device for a lifetime. So apple would never allow your app to access the files of your other app which is rather annoying and stops most innovation.
Anyway to the point, blocklauncher cannot be made for ios
Actually, there is a way to make mods for MCPE on iOS (with jailbreak). And maybe someone can port ModPE to iOS, which is pointless, because ModPE scripting is not real modding. The only problem is that not much programmers use iOS.
I will go to type a command for a mod or to speak with others on servers and it will work fine for a while, but then I will open it and it will close. Blocklauncher will also crash repeatedly. My device model is a Moto G and the system version is 210.12.57.falcon_CDMA.Boost.en.US.sprint

Try to wipe the data and cache of the app before running it. The remove the Scripts or Addons you have.
It seems to be working just fine on my device.
i just edit and combine shader and texture packs
