Help, I got this when I try to apply changes in pocket tool. It uninstalls and says that it was unsuccessful and package with that name and different signature already installed
I've tried several times, uninstalled Pocket Inventory Editor, MCPE, MCPT, rebooted device and reinstalled MCPE and MCPT and still a crash when clicking the textures button. Also, changing skins doesn't work.
I have Android 4.1.2 and it worked with 0.6.x, so I don't know what's wrong. A lot of people are experiencing the same thing and have commented about it on the Play Store.
Using a Nexus S BTW.
EDIT: Did some searching to find out what Rooting means and my android is not rooted. Didn't do any of those things.
Please take the time to fix this problem.
EDIT 2: Why do I have the feeling the this problem stems from the fact PocketTools for some strange reason ONLY works on rooted Androids now.
EDIT 3: Here's something you might also want to look into, it might be the cause: WHY is this detecting a VALID apk as being "INVALID"? I got it from the Goggle Play Store.
Your new update STILL has not addressed that problem people are experiencing: PocketTools crashing on 4.1.2 when clicking on the "Change Textures/Skins" Button. This worked for MCPE 0.6.1. Where did you fail? I, and others have changed NOTHING on their devices since the MC update, so the problem lies squarely at YOUR end. Please fix this A.S.A.P..

Works fine: rooted Nexus 7, 4.2.2. Try clearing PocketTool data in Settings, and make sure that you have root access on your device.

Don't have, don't need and DON'T WANT Root Access! Don't want to screw up my device and end up buying a new phone that I DON'T need. This thing is CLEARLY identifying devices as "Rooted" when they're not and then crashing.
AS I have stated previously: This worked with 0.6.1, nothing has changed or been installed and everything was working fine until 0.7.2 came out.
EDIT: Going to try to root this device and if it doesn't work, then this app should be looked into.
EDIT 2: Tried to Root it and Couldn't: The Rooting Program failed to reboot my device. So Rooting is a wash.
EDIT 3: Tried to Root my device and it failed on Fastboot. So I can't root it. This app has to be fixed for people who can't root their devices.
Snowbound, please fix this for NON-ROOTED Devices.
Well, I backuped all my stuff. Simply delete the com.snowbound or com.joshuelmanpockettool. Then I simply force stop the pocket tool and delete it with minecraft. And reinstall everything again. Easy as that

Tried it every way possible (uninstalling this and MCPE and then MCPE and PocketTool) and still doesn't work. Force stopped them both didn't help.

Can you fix it where it says ( for Asus Nexus 7 ) Invalid APK file, and every time I try to change my skin it always says that PocketTool has stopped working. Please fix.

What did you do to get it to work?
