I think this needs to be mentioned. The -24 installation issue is caused by orphaned data stored in /data/data. Deleting it, clearing data before uninstalling Minecraft, or using Titanium Backup usually does the trick.
can someone tell me what the PT mods are programmed in or where i could add my code to program one if not then i am just going to decrypt the minecraft .so file
Please Help
I noticed the app would shut down whenever I press "Change Textures/Skin" So when I checked the files there was only a text file and a Patch folder, I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but it either doesn't but in a folder at all or doesn't give me everything that's supposed to go in it, any suggestions?
You have Jelly Bean, which requires root to back up paid apps; PocketTool doesn't ask for root so it doesn't work.

Any idea why I can't get the server patch to work? I'm running MCPE 0.6.1, the latest version of Pocket Tool and Android 4.1.2 on my Motorola RAZR i
Texture packs work fine, but I've tried patching several server IPs, applying changes and scanning for wifi games; nothing, tried restarting, tried reconnecting to my wifi. I just can't see any servers.
After a long wait and a small amount of tweaking, I have successfully got PocketTool to run with root permissions on a Nexus 7 with stock firmware and SuperSU. This does indeed require root and the method used to extract a backup of Minecraft PE is rather brute force after root is granted (PT usually searches for a relevant package location; this version uses hard-coded paths), so it is experimental, but may be released to the public soon. If you have a Nexus or Jellybean device and your device is rooted, I would greatly appreciate it if you could try this test version and inform me if it works or fails miserably. Thank you. https://dl.dropboxus...n_root_test.apk

Confirmed working here - (another) Nexus 7, stock firmware (JDQ39), SuperSU, fresh copy of Minecraft PE from Google Play.

Curse PremiumI gave you the facepalm because you didn't say it was impossible and because babies are funny.
Name it crafting.png. But WOW! Did you make that?
yeah i made that, seems i cant use it though
Like i said, name it Crafting.png and then put it in the gui folder. I've worked on Texture packs before so i know how it works.
(Whispers "I'm not actually dead, I'm just in hiding and watching you all...)

Do mods patch? Are you sure the servers are up?
