It is not. However, I did make a post on the Play Store page about the move to GitHub.
How was the free version made? copy-and-pasta or library project?
Also, I need to confess: hotwingsKFC gave me an updated translation, and I forgot to pull request it. Feel free to punish me in any way. Have some :tnt:.

Pretty much copy-and-pasta (yes, pasta!). However, it was being maintained separately. I had I been using Git when I first started the project, it would have been a separate branch.

Why don't we make a library project out of the current Open Source version, then just build the Free version based on the library project? That's what I'm doing with PocketInvEditor.

You mean, I have to domorework? Plus having a "Free" version kind of defeats the purpose of making the code free and open source, and releasing the "Full" version as free. And also... there will be cake...

"PocketTool Free: Now as in speech! Cake will be provided after download."
There are no plans to do so. Unless there were huge changes to MC PE that broke all (or most) of the functionality of PocketTool version 1.5.7. However, it is advised to re-direct users to GitHub as opposed to Google Play.

Done. Changed the link on my mod thread.
Also, could you just copy-and-pasta the new IPPatch over to the Free version, add a giant "STOP USING THIS CRAPPY VERSION AND GET THE FULL VERSION FOR FREE" banner to the maimmain screen, and throw it on there as 1.5.8? It will attract more attention and would reduce the number of "Y U NO WORK, SEVER" posts in the Support section. It won't be much work for you.

You propose a compelling argument. copied-and-pasta'd the IPPatch and updated but didnt flame the main screen with all caps. Still, you cant miss the text on the front screen.

ALL CAPS FOR TEH WIN, MAN! AT LEAST ADD SOME KITTEHS.
Seriously, though, good job, and sorry about the extra work.
Kittens will appear in the next version of PocketTool.
Someone once left a review on PocketInvEditor sarcastically asking for pink elephants, rainbows, and some-other-memes-that-I-can't remember. I always regret not making a PocketInvEditor beta with said features.

What are the menu improvements going to be like?
Having relevant images of the functions of each item. For instance, the settings button could have an image of a cog as cogs have been used for settings in the past.
But I don't get why? If you publish on Google Play Store, more user have access to it?
I dont see a reason to continue to update on Google Play. I'm sure a majority of users who update to 1.5.8 from Google Play will see the big message on the main screen saying that the latest version is on GitHub and will go to GitHub to download it. So, almost everyone who uses Google Play has access to it as well as the Kindle Fire users who can not access Google Play.
snowbound my kindle fire and my friends crash when we open skins/textures section. (maybe some conflict with skin viewer because it usually crashers right after the skin viwer opens)
im haveing an annyoing problem with pocket tool, earlier it worked fine then i was going to install the more creative objects mod and it only says magic ok but it doesnt say done patching ive tried every thing but nothing works please helppppppppppp.

The beauty of the internet: that can be fixed and updated in under a few minutes.

Curse PremiumDo you mind submitting a LogCat of the crash? I know you've got the Android SDK, so just adb logcat or use DDMS.
Thank you so much.
