This is a zip problem. It happens when your version of MC PE becomes corrupt. It is most common when MC PE has been downloaded from anywhere other than Google Play, but it may also happen when updating PocketTool/MC PE. I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling both PocketTool and MC PE from Google Play.
Im having the same problems as naightmareassassin ill do what you said but ive done it before. And i cant change my skin ifollow all the steps but when it re installs mcpe and i go to click on mcpe it force closes so i have to uninstall that go to google play and install from there than it works but the skin doesnt work. Im really mad
I can no longer reinstall the app after applying changes. no matter what I am trying to do It will not Install. It says conflicting package name. and when I uninstall It will not install and I have to reboot my phone to install Minecraft PE again. app used to work but since 0.3.2 I cannot use for anything.
After several tries, where I was consistently getting PocketTool to fail the reinstall of MCPE after updating the textures, leaving enough garbage lying around to prevent Google Play from reinstalling MCPE without doing a full shutdown and restart, and now PocketTool is giving me "Unfortunately, PT Free has stopped" error messages when I go into Tool Kit and select "Change Textures/skins.
Everything works up to the uninstall and reinstall.. When I go to reinstall it shows com.mojang.minecraft.pe or some crap in stead of the app minecraft..how do I fix this?
This program is a cool idea but it does NOT work on nexus 7 devices! It's not just me I have seen other people complain about it on their Nexus 7s. I have already had to reset my device TWICE using it! Sorry dude, cool idea but it needs some work
Some features ... localization (it's not a high priority right now, but it is a long overdue feature)
I'm working on moving strings to strings.xml. When that's done, I'll ask some of the localizers of PocketInvEditor to see if they would like to help.
Also, what about a better patch center? One that would display local patches and their statuses (patched, unpatched, incompatiable), and can both patch and unpatch. Would that be useful?

Could you please post a log of the crash? Use the adb tool in the Android SDK if you have that installed on your computer, or use aLogcat or CatLog, apps available in the Google Play app store, to read the Android Log; it will help in diagnosing the crashes.
I have no working Facebook account; could you please post the photo to a public image sharing site like Imgur, or post the log in text format in this thread?
500 ISE! YOUR BACK! THANK GOD, YOUVE MISSED OUT ON ALOT!
No, I didn't.
Seriously, though, while I was away, mod loaders and awesome mods were written, and no one complained on PocketInvEditor's thread. I should go away more often.
When i replace the old mcpe wih the modded one it says a excisting package with the same name and a conflicting signiture is already installed. I have the settings so it doesnt uninstall mcpe.
Help please.
You have to let PocketTool uninstall the old MC PE. MC PE's verification certificates are signed by Mojang, while the modded MC PE is signed by PocketTool. Android doesn't allow an app signed by a different party to be installed over an existing app.
Here's an obligational post about releasing an update for compliance with 0.4.0 alpha.
New Changes/Fixes:
- No more ghost folders in PocketTool-produced .apks
- fixed the lack of blank space between the Using whatever.png toast in the live preview
- Moved the Download Skin activity's strings into resources
- Download Skin no longer downloads on the main thread - no longer commits suicide in Strict Mode.
- Download Skin had the text field type set to e-mail, as suggested on Stack Overflow, to avoid auto capitalization by demented keyboards
- Removed the forced portrait orientation for the main screen
- Added a Dutch translation by hotwingsKFC
- Updated for 0.4.0 alpha
New Features:
- Inventory Editing (Level Editor > Choose World > Edit Inventory). Back out of Level Editor to save changes.
- Bug fixes.
- Localization improvements.

Curse PremiumI'll make you a deal: you translate PocketTool and I'll make mods.

It is not. However, I did make a post on the Play Store page about the move to GitHub.
