win, is there a way you can double the fog distance instead of removing it (or increasing the default by 150%)? My tablet doesn't quite handle your current mod, but I know it could handle doubling the distance that it begins to render (a separate mod, obviously)?
If not, what addresses did you modify? I found a lot of fog reference in the libminecraftpe.so dumped file and as I haven't tried any mods yet, it would be a good project for me to cut my teeth on...
If you can figure out how to push back the fog, please share it
Thank you auto! That just may do it. I don't know how you found it because my Google search came up blank.
If win doesn't write the mod and I can make it work, I will certainly share!
EDITED
auto, the mod you sent me to does not change the fog rendering distance, but comeyely skips the fog's rendering all together! As the fog issue is supposed to be addressed in the next update, I may not bother to try and fix it. I would have to completely trace the rendering code and see how they compute the distance. But, as I want to learn how to mod Minecraft PE, I may try anyway - it will just take time. I will keep you posted. Then again, win may do it differently and it may be easy for him.
Thanks for the mods! I love having the smooth lighting mod. I makes a huge difference on how the lighting looks. The first screenshot is without smooth lighting.
win can you test something for me? can you use the high explosive mod on a nether reactor obsidian tower it leaves behind? Please do it for me i like your mods!

...that is, if you don't mind sharing.
