This is a known problem with custom items and custom recipes: I dunno what's causing it.
What if the game is recognizing custom blocks/items in a creative inventory like a sideways log? But if this was the case it would crash in survival too :/
What you do is disable mod then restart the app
Then go on your creative world with the mods disabled
Then open creative iventory maybe ones or twice
Then without going too title menu unable your mod
Then bam!
Your creative iventory works
PS you have to do this everytime using
