I think "calibrate" means assume the phone pitch is zero when the lane takes off so that we don't have to hold the phone in front right-angle.

I see that your script isn't "reader friendly". Do I have permission to post a readable script of your mod on this thread?
I think he won't refuse if you make a pull request for it. (of course along with something added like init-calibrate)
