A lot of us have been replacing the terrain.png so we can have custom textures but I'm sure a lot of you have noticed that the grass always stays a darker shade. It's hard to explain but is there a way to remove it? It would help a lot of us texture pack makers out!!
I can do that; it worked for me when I retextured grass to cake.
I'll just come out and say it... I really don't like writing this kind of stuff in Java.
It's not the syntax or the way the core libraries are structured or anything like that, it's the painfully classical (in an OOP sense) culture around it... example: android's expanding list view UI thing. To use it, I have to extend not one but three different android UI classes, overriding methods and so on. While these kinds of patterns can be useful for building large applications, they're just painful for hacking small stuff like this together.

You can, or you can't?

I just did it.
I don't see much different though. Is this useful for anything?
Getting Beta Keys to new games.

no limits isn't possible; most parts of the others are possible.
To be fair, this was six months ago, back when chickens were locked and there were no mob drops except wool dropped by sheep.
Just make a Bukkit plugin, upload to BukkitDev, get 1000 downloads, and get free Curse Premium.
Win4263 took over that for 0.4.0. Go get it on his thread.
How do you make a Bukkit plugin?

Curse PremiumWhile your criticisms are quite valid, don't forget that you can write compact Bukkit plugins as well.
